How often should synthetic oil be changed?

I've been using synthetic oil in an '07 Tacoma for 3,000 miles. I know that it does not break down as quickly as conventional oil and does not need to be changed as frequently. My plan is to change the oil filter every 3,000 to 5,000 miles. How often should you change the actual synthetic oil? I have heard anywhere from 10,000 to 25,000.How often should synthetic oil be changed?I would change the oil and filter at 6,000 miles. How often should synthetic oil be changed? That sounds about right ,some even claim 30,000 miles.

Now here is something to think about, the Oil Filter still gets contaminated %26amp; dirty at the same rate.

Just my opinion, still change the Oil Filter every 3000 miles and top it off with Synthetic Oil when you do...

Then you'll be good...We use to Re-use synthetic oil but with a New filter in our Race Engines..Never had any major problems...How often should synthetic oil be changed? When it starts to get dirty on the dipstick. How often should synthetic oil be changed?3-5k miles sounds good. As your truck is newer, I assume it probably has an oil monitor on it. It should tell you when the oil starts needing changing. If you don't have one, just pull the dipstick and check it. When the oil starts getting too dark, change it.
