How many quarts of oil do you need for a 95 dodge intrepid after an oil change?

I just got an oil change done on my 95 dodge intrepid 2 days ago. It hasnt went anywhere due to needing a new thermostat. but when we went to check the oil today after the red check engine light came on , no oil was showing up on the dipstick. We put a new oil filter in, and 5 quarts of oil.. Did we not put enough in? How many quarts are needed? How many quarts of oil do you need for a 95 dodge intrepid after an oil change?the 3.3 holds 5 quarts, the 3.5 holds 5 1/2.How many quarts of oil do you need for a 95 dodge intrepid after an oil change?Your engine's oil capacity should be right there in the manual. Look under %26quot;oil%26quot; or %26quot;capacity%26quot; in the index. It's in the back of mine. How many quarts of oil do you need for a 95 dodge intrepid after an oil change?I believe 5 qts is correct for that car and if it isn't its close enough to show on the stick, and safely run the car and turn the light out. if after 5 qts no oil was showing something is wrongs, left the drain plug out? (not be facetious it happens) didn't remove the o-ring from the old oil filter and is sprayed all the oil out, put the oil in the wrong place? How many quarts of oil do you need for a 95 dodge intrepid after an oil change?Five quarts and then check it with the dipstick.... If you want the level right at the top of the full mark instead of just in the operating range, you may have to add another 1/2 quart.

The %26quot;Check Engine%26quot; light is an indication of a computer fault code having been stored in the computer..

As for why the engine is low on oil, maybe you have a leak or the engine didn't get full at the last service...
