Bring oils and oil filters to the shop for oil change, charge how much?

when i bought my used car , the previous owner gave me a case of motor oils and some filters that is useless for him, if i provide these item and go to the shop for a oil change, how much AROUND they will charge me??? ( labor fee )....$5? $10?

thankyou for answering!!!Bring oils and oil filters to the shop for oil change, charge how much?most places will not perform your requested oil change without using thier own parts (oil, filter, etc) mainly so that they wont be held responsible for any damage which might incur otherwise. (not neccessarily your oil or filter, but as a general rule that applies to all customers regardless of the part) if u happen to find a garage that will accept the job, i wouldn't pay more than $15.00 at most. good luck.Bring oils and oil filters to the shop for oil change, charge how much? Some places won't do any work unless they use their parts ( warranty issues). Some places may do the work with your oil and filter but will not warranty anything. Some places will do it with your stuff but charge you a regular hourly rate which will probably be more than the advertised price for an oil change. Finally, there are those rare shops that will do it with your stuff for $10-$15. You have to remember that whoever changes your oil has to be paid for his/her labor. So if everyone tried to do what you are trying to do, the company would lose money paying the laborer and would not having money coming in as they do make some of their money on the price of the parts and materials. GOOD LUCK!!!Bring oils and oil filters to the shop for oil change, charge how much?I have a friend that takes oil with him to the fast oil change place and they only take $6 or $7 off and he is still paying around $20 so you would be lucky if you could get out for $15 $16 in labor. seams like your friends would do it for you, its not hard and and only takes 15 min. or so.
